Kirk Riddle

LICENSED CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

Kirk is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience as a therapist, following 28 years as a Sales Marketing Manager with Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals.  Kirk volunteered with the Chicago Department of Mental Health and the Rush University Medical Center Early-onset Alzheimer’s support group. Kirk also worked in Private Practice with the HELP agency and contracted as a Counselor in the Chicago Public School system, where he worked on the Restorative Practices Team and conducted individual counseling. Kirk has extensive experience leading support groups that focused primarily on issues of Depression and Anxiety. Kirk also has experience in Counseling Couples, and Adolescents. Kirk approaches life with Christian values while remaining non-judgmental. Kirk counsels using an approach that has helped him to deal with loss in his life.

Kirk is an African American male who recently lost his first wife due to the early onset of Alzheimer’s. Kirk is the father of an adult daughter. He has been blessed a second time, remarried, and currently lives in North Carolina, although he is licensed in Illinois and Florida. Hobbies include walks with his wife and dog, playing racquetball, and time spent in his faith walk.
