Kara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience in social services, working with youth across schools, community centers, and residential programs. She is a dedicated leader, having chaired key initiatives like the Inner You and Homelessness Committees at her current organization. Kara is passionate about creating safe, empowering spaces and helping individuals make choices aligned with the lives they envision. Known for her straightforward, compassionate approach, she meets people where they are and isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family as well as bowling on a league. Reading/listening to books, playing board games and watching movies are ways I like to spend free time, too.
